It Is All In The Details!

One of my favorite things about a wedding is the details! So of course I made sure there were plenty of details in our wedding. I just wish I took a picture of all the stuff we brought over to Villa Siena the day before the wedding. It was a little insane, and took two car's full! Honestly though, none of my details would be made possible if it weren't for my amazing MOTHER!!!!!! ALL of my details were hand crafted by her. She is one of those people that sees something on pinterest, or sees something cute you can buy on Etsy, and says, DANG IT, I can do it BETTER!!! So all of these captions start with MY MOM, because the credit is all due to her. She is the one who made my wedding so beautiful and made it just the way I wanted it to be. I keep telling her she should make a living out of it because she's got pure talent!

These were hanging outside the entrance gates of Villa Siena

My mom hand made all the flower balls!!! It took her months to do, but they turned out perfect! We also reused them again for the reception in front of the wedding party tables.

These are the name cards for the guests. Boys got cute lil bowties and girl got pretty bows with a cake stand!

It honestly took forever to figure out our signature drink. I just knew it had to be blue!! Hope our guests enjoyed it!
We did a lil photo booth during cocktail hour for our guests to enjoy!

My mom had these Kleenex boxes order for the wedding ceremony.

My mom made the adorable card box! And we had our sign in be a canvas picture of Matt and I. I am so EXCITED to hang it in our new home!

My mom and I fell in love with these table numbers. The first time we read them we cried, and that's when we knew we had to have them for the tables!

Each table setting got a pretty dried orchid to add some color and fun detail!

One of my favorite touches to the tables. That lace that is around the candle is from my MOTHER's WEDDING DRESS!!! And of course she crafted them together!

WE saw this from pinterest and loved the idea. We thought it would allow our guests to come and chat with us!! My mom also made the chair backs as well!

I HAD TO HAVE THE light MONOGRAM! It was a wonderful addition!

Cocktail napkins with our first dance song on them!<3

MY MOM made that huge table cake tutu!!!!

I wanted to a do a groom's cake and surprise Matthew, but it just didn't happen, so this was my way of doing something he would enjoy! GO EAGLES!

Thanks Mommy. For all the blood, sweat, and hopefully no tears, that you put into making all these beautiful things for our wedding. All the researching, hours of pinteresting, long talks on the phone, long lists of to dos, buying, and endless crafting was ALL WORTH IT. There are truly no words to even express the gratitude we felt that day and will continue to feel for all the craziness we put you through to make our wedding day perfection. We love you.

XOXO,

Mrs. Glynn

Our First Look

Having a first look is a BIG DEAL! I always imagined my soon to be husband to see me for the first time in my wedding dress while walking down the isle. Matt and I debated about a first look for awhile. I researched many blogs and articles on how couples felt doing it or not doing it. I LOVED IT!!! I loved being able to see Matt before the ceremony. It put my nerves at ease, as soon as I saw his face and smile, after spending more than 24 hours apart, everything was absolutely perfect and nothing else mattered. In that moment it was just him and I, time just stood still around us. He gave me his wedding gift to me during our first look. It was absolutely perfect! He designed a diamond necklace and earrings and the diamonds were my mother's, my grandma's, and my great grandma's. The thoughtfulness of this gift met so much to me. I feel like whenever I wear it am not only reminded by Matthew's love for me and our wedding day, but of the strong line of woman I come from.

Our first look was perfection and I love looking at the pictures and being reminded of how I felt in that moment when I got to see him.

Stay tuned for more pictures for our wedding day. I know I have been slacking in posting pictures, the holiday season was a crazy one! That being said we hope you all had a great holiday season. Happy New year to all! We are so excited to see what 2015 has in store for us as husband and wife!

XOXO,
