10 Things You May NOT Know about Our Wedding

Since, there are only 100 days left I thought it would be fun to share 10 fun little tidbits that you might not know about our wedding day in video form!!! 

Now, since I only have 100 days left, I best be getting on with my to do list.....

10 Phrases Matthew Says To Me Daily

1. "Noop...."'

Okay, lemme explain some back story to this one. Matthew talks in his sleep basically EVERY NIGHT! So one night, he woke up and looked at me and said "Noop and Loop". So from that day forward we have been calling one another Noop or Noopy as a cute pet name. As weird as it sounds and you are probably thinking "what the heck", we call each other this nickname on the daily.

2. Cat calls or whistles...

Okay, so not really a phrase... but most of the time when Matt sees me he usually does the typical cat call or whistles at me. Usually when I am all dressed up and leaving to go to work or we are on our way to dinner. For a long time whenever he texted me it was the bird whistle text-tone on the iphone because it reminds me of him. 

3. "What/where do you want for/goto dinner"

One of our biggest dilemmas in life is what to eat or where to go to dinner. Most days when I get home this is the first thing he asks me. We love our food and have our favorite restaurants we go to all the time. If we aren't planning on going out the other question that is asked is, what we will have for dinner. I am a horrible at having the energy to cook some food for my man, so most of the time we resort to going out. One of my top priorities after marrying Matthew, will to become a better cook for him! 

4. "Honey, where's my phone?"

If I had a penny for every time these words came out of Matthew's mouth, I would be one rich girl. Most of the time, it slides down in the cracks of the couch or he leaves it in his car. It usually is a mini scavenger hunt for us right before we go to bed. And usually right before I go to bed I am little bit cranky, so I resentfully call his phone to help him find it! But, mostly he is frantic to find it because he is waiting for something to level up on his Clash of Clans game. 

5. "Good Morning Beautiful!"

Matthew and I wake up different times, mostly because we have different works schedules. So by the time I actually wake up there will usually be some cute text waiting for me. The first line usually says Good morning beautiful. So I always wake up smiling and feeling loved in the morning. 

6. "Can we go see this movie (insert any movie with Tom Cruise or total guy movie"

When Matt has his mind set on seeing a certain movies he basically asks me every day of his life if we can go see it, until we actually go see it. Right now he is on a huge Transformers binge. And, after I am done writing this he probably will ask me if we can see it. Also usually if there is any movie with Tom Cruise in it, he will 100 percent want to see it. I am personally reluctant to see them because every Tom Cruise movie to me is the same. Same plot, same crazy scenarios, and he always get the girl in the end.... SO BORING. Now, of course I will see these movies with him when they come to Redbox, but not the in theater!

7. "I miss you"

It seems silly, but when after almost three years of dating we still miss one another when we aren't together. Since, I graduated college we definitely do not spend as much time together as we use too, just because of my job and crazy retail working schedule. He is constantly telling me he misses me, because we honestly love spending time together. We have so much fun together and when together we just feel at home. So when we are apart naturally, we miss one another. 

8. "You look so pretty"

I am so lucky!!! He always tells me this, regardless if I just woke up and still have drool on my chin and sleep in my eyes, or if I am all dolled up with makeup and hair done. He is always reminding me of how beautiful he thinks I am. All girls have insecurities, so to be loved by a man that thinks I am pretty regardless of the time of day is amazing. 

9. "Babe... you can't be mad at me!!"

When I am feeling sassy or mad, he usually says this and immediately my heart melts. There is no way I can be mad at Matthew longer than maybe two minutes. The worse part is that he knows when he says this I will probably try to not smile and pretend to still be mad. But, I am such a sucker for his cute lil' big blue eyes and smile when he says this.

10. "I love you most!"

We always make it a contest to see who can say this fastest. One, time I was trying to beat him so I said "I love you MORE than MOST", trying to out do him by saying I love him more than the word most. But it came out like it sounds, that he is clumped with people who I love in life. 

Can't forget the Junior Bridesmaid!!

After thinking of how I wanted my family involved in my wedding. 

Such as ushers and who will walk who down the isle. One thing I kept going back to is where will my darling niece Reagan sit or stand or how do I want her helping on our day. It occurred to me that I had left someone out of my bridal party...

Reagan is my oldest niece, but she is the closest I will ever get to having blood sister. We are closer in age than both of older brothers. When she was born, I remember I was so excited and could not contain myself.  I thought I was the coolest person alive because I was an Aunt at such a young age of 8! I wanted to spend every waking minute with my precious niece. One of the greatest things I am proud of is being an Aunt. The first year of her life, my mother watched her often and I loved playing with her and teaching her and watching her grow. I remember her first birthday like it was yesterday. She wasn't quite walking yet, but I would hold both her hands and put her in front of me and help her walk around. I remember swimming and playing soccer in the backyard together when she grew old enough. I remember when she lost her first tooth or when we would put cookies out for santa and I would write letters to Santa for her. We basically grew up together and have been a constant person in one another's lives. 

Time has gone by so fast because now is she going to be a Freshman in High School (man do I feel old). I always love cheering her on at her soccer games! She has become quite the goalie!! I am more proud of her than ever because she has turned out to be such a well-rounded little woman! She has amazing ideals and values and is pretty-much fearless when it comes to challenges. She is honestly everything I wished I was going into high school!!

So naturally she is assuming the place as my junior bridesmaid!!! I want nothing more than my oldest niece to stand next to me as I marry her soon to be uncle!
