But, first let's take a selfie!!!!
But, really lets take some! We had to take our engagement photos! FIRST, there was no questions asked who would be our photographer! Kelsey Zubkoff, is a close friend of ours and took my grad photos, and it was a given she had to be the one to take our photos. For months I have been pinning engagement photos, but had a super clear vision in my head of how I wanted it to look.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! Arizona is a beautiful desert place, but I HATE the desert scenery. Sorry, not sorry, cacti in the background are not cute! I wanted photos that where scenic with lush greenery. Not the easiest of places to find in AZ. I originally wanted to go back to Sedona to take the pictures, but it just wasn't feasible for the time parameters. Matthew, was told that there was a pretty place by The Grove, by our house that had a orange tree field next to it. Thankfully we decided to drive by it before the photo session, and discovered all the trees are dead and not in bloom nor green. So, I did more research and came across the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. It looked like there were various spots to take cute photos, and there were!
Once arriving, we realized I forget something! I, the big planner, forgot the most essential part of my outfit! My flower crowns, that my wonderful mother made me, that I basically planned one of my outfits completely around. So this forced us to rethink how we would go about doing the photos. We were able to capture adorable pictures at the railroad park with one of the other outfits we had planned. We then headed to a different location and had a one of my bridesmaids run back to our house to get the crowns! Kelsey was able to really capture us in the photos and she was able to get numerous shots!
We even were able to take pictures of Bentley with us as well. And of course he is wearing a bow tie that matches us too! DUH! I wanted to bring a fresh romantic vibe to our photos. I also wanted to bring in a little bit of our wedding colors to them as well. I am excited to pick the ones that will go on the save the dates.
Below are some more behind the scene photos throughout the day! Soon our actual photos will be posted and the Save the Dates will go out! And our Wedding Date will be finally announced!!! So STAY TUNED
